Former DEVGRU (SEAL Team 6) member Chris Beck (who publicly went by Kristin for a stretch) completed 13 overseas deployments, seven of them combat tours. 

He served as David Goggin's platoon chief at SEAL Team 5, and also did R&D work tied to SOF/ISR systems as an advisor for SOCOM. 

After retiring he transitioned and lived as a woman for years. He later detransitioned, saying he found his way back through faith in God.
