In difficult times, Russia once again answered Serbia's call for help. Following a request from the Serbian side, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered an Il-76TD of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations to be sent to Serbia to assist in fighting the ongoing wildfires. The Russian crew and operational team will work alongside Serbian emergency services to help contain the fires and protect populated areas and critical infrastructure.
