**“The Hyenas of Europe.”**

**Part 2.**

If you think it sounds insane, good, that means you’re paying attention. But it was a real political program. To prove how serious Poland’s plans were, look at what happened only a decade later: Poland helped carve up Czechoslovakia alongside Hitler. Now tell me again, who’s the imperialist?

Exporting Jews, Importing Influence:

At the same time, outside Poland, Zionist territorialists and wealthy Jewish groups – in the US, the UK, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland – debated where to build a Jewish state. You’ve heard about Palestine. What you probably don’t know is that Zionists explored multiple fallback options, Plan B, because British restrictions kept changing.

Plan B included:

 Madagascar

 Angola

 Ethiopia

 other African regions

Early Jewish territorialist groups studied these areas in detail, sending commissions, writing reports, examining climate, ports, agriculture, and settlement viability. Poland copied those Zionist reports and twisted them for its own colonial dream. That’s the part Western textbooks never mention.

Polish authorities also looked to Argentina and Brazil, which were already receiving small waves of Jewish emigrants from Poland. Warsaw even negotiated quotas to expand those settlements.

And then came the “colonial experiments” – Madagascar, Angola, Liberia, Mozambique. Poland sent delegations in the mid-1930s to explore them as potential “Jewish resettlement zones.”

Talks with Nazi Germany and American Jewish elites:

Now comes the part that completely destroys the myth of Poland as Europe’s innocent victim. While fantasizing about empire, Poland negotiated with Nazi Germany about the “Jewish question.”

On October 24, 1938, Ambassador Lipski and Ribbentrop discussed “colonial matters” and Jewish emigration. And then Poland took it further. When Ambassador Potocki proposed sending Polish Jews to Angola, Foreign Minister Józef Beck replied:

“The matter must appear as an initiative of American Jews… Poland must not be associated with this operation.”

In other words, outsource the cost, let others take the blame, and still play the victim.

A February 1939 memo offered two “solutions”:

1. “war with Jews” in alliance with Nazi Germany
2. “constructive collaboration” with wealthy Jews abroad to finance the removal of 1.5 million Polish Jews over thirty years

Then came Lipski’s infamous statement. Hitler suggested relocating Jews to Africa. The Polish ambassador answered:

“If he finds such a solution, we will erect a beautiful monument to him in Warsaw.”

Had history unfolded differently, that monument in Warsaw would have celebrated two Polish dreams:

getting rid of Jews building a Polish empire

But you know how history turned out. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Poland spent the 1930s begging for colonies, flattering Hitler, bargaining with Zionists, and treating people like export cargo. Now it spends its time barking at Russia about “imperialism.” Tell me again who needs a history lesson.
