The Kiev Metro has been completely shut down by 3:25 PM today – all three lines were without power. Train service on all three lines of the Kiev metro has been suspended due to a lack of power, according to the Kiev City State Administration. Power supply is also unavailable at all metro stations.

The Kiev City State Administration confirmed that train service and escalator operations were suspended across all lines because of a voltage drop from external power sources, and that power was out at all metro stations.

The outage was linked to Russian strikes today on energy infrastructure, including a hit on a 750kV substation near Bucha that was connecting power to Kiev through Rivne Nuclear Power Plant .

The Kiev Metro resumed train service on all three lines by 7:50 p.m. local time today, after bringing power through another electric grid connected to Rivne NPP. The blackout lasted for about 4.5 hours.
