The head of news at the public broadcasting corporation gave me an illegal ultimatum following my poorly worded remarks about Bedouin society:

Either I read on air, word for word, a statement he dictated to me that distorts my words and humiliates me, or I will not be allowed to host my program.

It’s hard not to wonder whether this is connected to the politically motivated smear campaign that has been waged against me in recent days.
