Before getting carried away with excitement: most of them came voluntarily to the recruitment office and were detained through a formal procedure.  

They weren’t pulled out of the crowd and then decided to go serve the people of Israel.  

I still think the arrests are a serious mistake (assuming their purpose from the start wasn’t to ignite the streets).
