Following the High Court of Justice’s demand that the IDF examine the possibility of accelerating the return of residents to the refugee camps in the West Bank, Smotrich issued a scathing statement against the judges:

“The three High Court justices—Amit, Stein, and Kabub—are endangering Israel’s security. These irresponsible judges, who understand absolutely nothing about security, are once again interfering, just as they did in Gaza before October 7, tying the IDF’s hands and personally enabling the rebuilding of Arab terrorist infrastructure in northern Samaria, which was dismantled by our heroic soldiers under our direction as the political leadership.

And afterward, they will have the audacity to appoint the commission of inquiry that will investigate those responsible for the horrific massacre, when they themselves should be the first to be investigated. >
