Hello, my name is Uri, and I am the father of Hodiya David, of blessed memory, who was murdered on October 7.

There was one place in the world where my Hodiya truly felt at home. Every Shabbat, she would sit in her special place at our community synagogue, where she felt a deep sense of belonging.

On October 7, she went to the Nova music festival, and tragically, she never came home.

I am her father, and ever since that day, I wake up every morning asking myself the same question: How do you honor and preserve the memory of such an extraordinary soul?

After much thought, we made a decision: A new synagogue will be built in her memory, right in the very place where she prayed every Shabbat.

Construction has already begun, but we are still missing a small amount to complete the building.

This is the one thing that keeps me going — the hope of seeing the synagogue built in her memory.

I am asking you from the bottom of my heart: Please make a donation and help me complete the construction. >
