I am aware of the discussions emerging on social media regarding the contribution of nets and other means to prevent Hezbollah drones. The entire IDF, and the Chief of Staff personally, are continuously engaged in this matter.

It is important for us to state — there is no shortage of equipment. The IDF is not conducting any fundraising from civilian sources for combat forces.

We continue to procure nets and optimal protection solutions for the shielding of the forces operating in the north, through a rigorous examination process, testing of every equipment manufacturer, and strict adherence to quality and safety standards.

This is in addition to the extensive efforts being made to promote optimal protection solutions for our forces, in parallel with the fighting in southern Lebanon.

There may be isolated cases of private initiatives on this matter. I emphasize — this is not due to any equipment shortage. Any net that does not meet the required standards may pose a risk to our forces; therefore, there is strict adherence to quality and safety regulations.

Naturally, and for the safety of our forces, most of the actions we carry out in this area are classified. I find it appropriate to share with you one of many photos from the accelerated fortification process at frontline posts along the Lebanese border, showing the extensive deployment of nets.
