Subject: Lies Made by Haaretz

The Prime Minister has instructed his attorneys to file a defamation lawsuit against the left-wing newspaper Haaretz, Shlomi Eldar, and additional parties who fabricated a false allegation against the Prime Minister that never happened.

Contrary to the claim, from the beginning of September until October 7, no conversation took place between the Prime Minister and the President of the United Arab Emirates.

The Prime Minister’s Office, the National Security Council, and the Military Secretariat carefully reviewed the Prime Minister’s call logs for this period and found no record of such a conversation.

As a rule, diplomatic conversations between the Prime Minister and the UAE President take place exclusively at the Prime Minister’s Office, through a UAE representative who comes to the office with a special encrypted device.

All such conversations are documented.

Eldar himself said yesterday evening in an interview with Channel 12 that the conversation he claims took place—and during which he claims the Prime Minister was given a warning—was conducted in this manner.

However, a thorough review not only of the Prime Minister’s call logs but also of entry records for the Prime Minister’s Office during this period found no record of any UAE representative entering the office.

It is impossible to enter the Prime Minister’s Office without being documented and registered by the security personnel at the facility.

Eldar also lied when he said that Egypt had warned the Prime Minister about a possible attack, a claim that was already refuted at the beginning of the war.

All of this proves that this is a malicious fabrication with clear political timing, as part of the left’s election campaign, and there will be more such false allegations.

This fabrication is intended to distract from what the public already understands:

Ronen Bar and Herzi Halevi saw all the warning signs many hours before the attack began. If, instead of worrying about a miscalculation, they had instructed the IDF, the Shin Bet, and the community security squads to act preemptively, and if they had informed Prime Minister Netanyahu in time, the horrific massacre could have been prevented.
