The name of the fallen IDF soldier, whose family has been notified, has been cleared for publication:

- Lt. Col. Dor Gedalia Ben Simhon, 32 years old, from Beit HaShita, commander of the 52nd Battalion, 401st “Tracks of Iron” Brigade, was killed in battle in southern Lebanon.
