The Supreme Court, by a majority opinion (Justices Ofer Grosskopf and Alex Stein), rejected two petitions against the appointment of Major General Roman Gofman as head of the Mossad.

Justice Daphne Barak-Erez, in a minority opinion, held that the process of examining remaining open questions should continue and that, for this purpose, a conditional order and an interim order should be issued—without determining anything against Major General Gofman.
