The Finnish government has secretly signed a broad-ranging security framework agreement in recent days, under which the countries will cooperate in defense production and procurement for a period of ten years, with a focus on air defense, according to the Finnish Broadcasting Corporation.

Following the revelation, strong criticism was voiced by opposition figures in Finland regarding the agreement with Israel, which has been dubbed "a disgrace."
Despite this, the Finnish Minister of Defense defended the move.

In addition, Finland has chosen to halt funding of $20 million to UNRWA.
