I still stand by my words: a significant shift has been evident in the stance of the U.S. president ever since he returned from China.

Israel will have to continue striking Hezbollah in Lebanon, and that reality does not seem to align with the current position of the U.S. administration.

Iran has successfully managed to drive a wedge between the two leaders. The president appears to have fallen into the trap of Tehran’s empty threats to abandon the negotiating table should Israel strike in Beirut.

I must honestly admit that President Trump today seems very different from the leader many of us once knew.

But now that my rant is over, I am reminded once again where my trust truly belongs:

“Some trust in chariots, and some in horses;
But we will remember the name of the Lord our God.”

Political leaders will come and go. Alliances will rise and fall. Nations will disappoint us. But the God of Israel remains unchanged, and His promises stand forever.
