Nearly 100,000 Jewish people gathered last night at the Western Wall in Jerusalem to pray, cry out, and bring their petitions before God:

Revealer of mysteries,
Speaker of righteousness.

We have sinned before You - have mercy upon us.

Glorious in wonders,
Ancient in consolations,
Rememberer of the covenant with the fathers,
Examiner of the innermost being.

We have sinned before You - have mercy upon us.

Good and gracious to all creation,
Knower of all hidden things,
Subduer of iniquities,
Clothed in righteousness.

We have sinned before You - have mercy upon us.

Abounding in merits,
Awesome in praises,
Forgiver of iniquities,
Answerer in times of trouble.

We have sinned before You – have mercy upon us.

Worker of salvation,
Foreseer of the future,
Caller of the generations,
Rider of the highest heavens.

We have sinned before You – have mercy upon us.

Hearer of prayers,
Perfect in knowledge.

We have sinned before You – have mercy upon us.”

Arab media channels described this gathering as a “Jewish invasion” of what they called their sacred Muslim holy site.
