**Tehran celebrates the Republicans defeat**

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf used the U.S. midterm election results to send a threatening message to President Trump, warning him against ignoring Americans who oppose the war.

“If the U.S. government betrays its own people, it will discover that our ‘no’ comes with a nightmare,” Ghalibaf said.
