The most alarming message from what appears to be the end of the American war in Iran does not concern the ballistic missiles, the proxies, or even the nuclear program.

It concerns the immense weakness projected by the free world, through a confused America that is unable to properly conclude a nearly casualty-free war against a fanatical, weak, and battered adversary that openly declares its ambition to destroy it.

This message is now echoing from Beijing to Moscow, from Pyongyang to Tehran.
