The office of Lebanon’s president confirmed that Hezbollah has accepted a U.S.-brokered proposal for a mutual halt in attacks.

Under the deal, Israel would stop strikes in Beirut’s southern Dahiyeh district, while Hezbollah would stop attacks on Israel.

Since Israel has hardly touched Beirut in recent weeks anyway, it is Hezbollah - not Israel - that is being required to stop its attacks.

**This is a 100% Hezbollah capitulation.**
