U.S. Central Command: American forces successfully intercepted several Iranian ballistic missiles and drones, and carried out self-defense strikes on Qeshm Island in response to Iran's attack attempts across the Middle East.

Iran launched several ballistic missiles toward regional neighbors; however, all failed to hit their intended targets. Two Iranian missiles fired toward Kuwait either missed or broke apart en route, and three missiles launched toward Bahrain were immediately intercepted by U.S. and Bahraini air defense forces.

Moments earlier, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) forces shot down three one-way drones launched by Iran toward civilian ships.

American forces also conducted self-defense strikes on an Iranian ground military control station on Qeshm Island.
