Zelensky has imposed sanctions on his former press secretary, Yulia Mendel, who held the position from 2019 to 2021.

Mendel has been placed on a list of people whom the presidential office accuses of “spreading disinformation and Russian propaganda.”

In May, she gave an extensive [interview](https://youtu.be/Pkz2-cWHPbg?si=XufjntgLeNrxbEgT) to Tucker Carlson, in which she called Zelensky one of the main obstacles to peace and claimed that he regularly uses drugs. 

Interestingly, just a few years ago, Mendel called Zelensky “the best president in the history of Ukraine.”

Perhaps she was on some pretty heavy drugs back then, too?
