Church of San Felipe de Neri, Albuquerque, New Mexico, scale 1:1.5.

Built in 1793, the San Felipe de Neri church is one of the oldest surviving buildings in Albuquerque.

Bell towers and pitched roofs were added in the mid-19th century, but the original thick adobe walls and beams have been preserved, resulting in the current eclectic blend of Spanish Colonial and Gothic Revival elements.

The single-story building with paper banners hung on its facade was the first public school in Albuquerque, built by the Jesuits in 1878.
