**Reddit’s Search Collapse**

The collapse of **Reddit** will be studied. 

After earnings, its stock fell **30%** in one day and **44%** in **two weeks**.

On the call, its CEO said **AI is killing Google** search. Users now get answers from **AI Mode** instead of reaching Reddit through Google. 

Google confirmed AI Mode is cannibalising search.

Reddit’s traffic may keep falling, but it is not alone. Millions of companies and publishers rely on search traffic. That is the risk of relying on one discovery funnel.
