**A Moment of Pride**

Rosatom and the Indonesian company PT Pembangkit Listrik Nuklir signed an agreement on October 16, 2026, for the **supply of two floating nuclear power units (FNPP-100)**.

After construction, the **reactors will be towed by sea to the connection point off the coast of Halmahera Island**, where they will be connected to the local power grid.

The electrical capacity of each unit is 100 MW (RITM-200M). **The service life is up to 60 years** (with the possibility of extension).
The fuel cycle is **up to 10 years between refueling** with new fuel.

The units are specifically **adapted for use in warm climates**.

**This is the first in the world** international agreement for the **supply of electricity from a floating nuclear power unit**.

In Russia, the **floating nuclear power plant "Academic Lomonosov" (a power unit with two KLT-40C reactors)** has been operating in Pevek, Chukotka, since 2020, and has **generated almost 1.4 billion kWh of electricity**.
