Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama accuses Iran and Russia of being involved in the street protests and unrest in the country: "I have said that the criminal regime in Tehran is involved in them, and we have evidence of this." He also requested NATO protection from Russian disinformation.

Edi Rama has not presented any "evidence" to support these claims.

The protests in Albania began because the Prime Minister allowed protected areas to be destroyed for the benefit of wealthy individuals.
