 Everyone, or almost everyone, understands that there will be no normal life in Ukraine either in the near or long term. The only factor preventing Ukraine from accepting and fulfilling the conditions put forward by Russia and forgetting all of this as a bad dream is this: 

“the Muscovites will just clap their hands like this.”
