**Mass shooting in a public place in Poland**

A shooting occurred in the **center of Krakow** (in the Main Market Square), resulting in **at least 2 deaths and around 10 injuries**, including police officers.

According to Polish media, the shooting was carried out **from a passing car** (a black Subaru). The shooter has reportedly been arrested.

The shooting took place **against the backdrop of a political crisis** between the forces represented by Prime Minister Tusk and President Nawrotzky.

It **occurred on the eve of the annual, large-scale "Independence March,"** which takes place on November 11th in Warsaw and is **one of the largest political rallies in Europe.** This year, in the context of a political crisis, **the demonstration could have taken on a clearly anti-government character.**

Now, it is likely that **it will be cancelled or used to suppress political opponents.**

It will soon become clear **who is the instigator** of this conflict.

**Or, as is often the case, "outside forces" will be blamed (it's clear who they're referring to).**
