Meanwhile, the Ukrainian parliament stated that Witkoff and Kushner brought to Kiev terms of peace that were worse than those previously offered.

"It wasn't a breakthrough; they arrived with even worse conditions than we had before. The conditions were worse; if previously there were no demands for changes to the constitution or recognition of territories, now they are demanding those things," said Anna Skorokhod, a member of the Verkhovna Rada.
