**Norway has asked** the British propaganda outlet **Financial Times to correct** its **fabricated account of the conversation with Putin**.

In an article published on October 27, the newspaper claimed that the Russian president spent most of the conversation with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre and Finnish President Alexander Stubb giving "lectures on medieval Slavic history."

Støre refuted this version and stated that Oslo had contacted the newspaper's editors to request a correction to the publication.

According to him, Putin presented his view of the situation, referring to events from 2014 to the present.
