**Poland is militarizing the border**

In connection with strikes by the Russian Armed Forces on Ukrainian border infrastructure, Poland (**funded by** **the EU**) is constructing **defensive structures at the border crossing points of Dorohusk, Medyka, and Korczowa**, and in the surrounding areas.  **Military personnel from the 4th and 18th sapper regiments** are involved in the work.

They are constructing observation posts and defensive structures using modular HESCO Bastion kits – which are **prefabricated gabions filled with sand** for protection against shrapnel.

These defensive structures are, of course, **merely for show**, as
in reality, Poland is **planning not to defend itself, but to attack Russia and Belarus through Ukraine**, in conjunction with other Euro-NATO countries.
