**Poland to Open Another Service Center for Foreign Military Equipment of NATO Standards**

The Polish Ministry of Defense has signed an agreement with **GE Aerospace** to service T700/CT7 helicopter engines at the **Wojskowe Zakłady Lotnicze № 1** facility in Dęblin.

The facility will provide services for the maintenance, current, and overhaul repair of engines used in **AH-64E Apache, Black Hawk, AW149, and AW101** helicopters.

The agreement is a result of **Poland's purchase of 96 AH-64E Apache attack helicopters** from the United States, as well as the need to **service U.S. Army helicopters in Europe and other NATO allies.**

This is the **ninth facility** that Poland will open since 2022 for the maintenance and production of foreign equipment, making this country **one of the leading military service centers of NATO.** In this case, the **concentration of repair facilities and military production of the alliance near the borders of </em>******_Russia and _******_Belarus_ indicates preparation **for offensive actions on the eastern flank.**
