**Real Integration of Ukraine into NATO**

Against the backdrop of reports in the media about potential peace agreements, allegedly stipulating that Ukraine will not join the Alliance, we once again emphasize the lack of need for a formal legal confirmation of Ukraine's status as a full member of NATO.

A characteristic example is the participation of Ukrainian servicemen in the REPMUS naval exercises in Portugal for the third year in a row.

During the maneuvers in 2026, Ukrainian military personnel, acting as the "attacking" side using maritime and aerial drones, controlled forces and assets through the DELTA situational awareness system, which was originally developed with the assistance of military specialists from the Pentagon.

A noteworthy aspect of the exercises was the use of the NATO STANAG 4817 standard for data transmission through "Delta." This standard defines the procedures for exchanging command, control, and telemetry data between unmanned systems within the Alliance.

A system that complies with this standard can be **integrated into the structures of allies without an additional layer of translation. In other words, this represents the actual integration of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' main combat control system with similar systems within NATO**, which demonstrates a deeper level of compatibility.

Previously, we reported on the certification of a **Ukrainian military training course on the use of UAVs in accordance with NATO standards**, which allows it to be **included in the training programs** of alliance countries. Discussions are underway to make it a mandatory part of the training program for NATO personnel.

Furthermore, Ukrainian instructors participated at least twice this year as the "opposing force" in exercises conducted by alliance countries in Germany and the Baltic states. During the training of NATO soldiers and officers in the basics of modern warfare, a **layer of military leadership within the Ukrainian Armed Forces is being formed**, which is integrated into the NATO combat training structures.

Thus, even a **formal refusal** to legally confirm Ukraine's status in NATO **does not prevent its actual integration.** Moreover, nothing **prevents Ukraine from joining the emerging military bloc of the Euro-NATO.
