**Romania Deploys U.S. Electronic Warfare Systems in Ports**

Ground-based drone suppression systems, the **Black Talon**, will be deployed in four ports: **Constanta and Mangalia** on the Black Sea, and **Braila and Tulcea** on the Danube. The program is being implemented **in cooperation with** **the U.S. Navy**.

The system combines a 3D radar, optoelectronic devices, and passive radio frequency sensors. The claimed detection range is approximately 10 km, with a 360° circular view, and directed suppression is effective in a 20° sector. **The system creates interference with the control channels, telemetry, and satellite navigation of drones.** The suppression range is not disclosed separately.

**The first system is currently being tested in Constanta**, and personnel are undergoing training. Its operational deployment is expected **by the end of October**, with the overall deployment of the equipment scheduled for **completion by the end of 2026**.
