**The Baltic skies have once again become a route for Ukrainian drones. This time, "fog prevented" their interception.**

The Lithuanian Minister of Defense, Arvydas Anušauskas, confirmed that the drone that triggered an air raid alert in the country on October 18th was Ukrainian and related to a massive attack on St. Petersburg.

Two NATO Eurofighter fighter jets were scrambled to intercept the drone, but it was not shot down. The minister's explanation is noteworthy: **due to fog and cloud cover, the pilots were unable to visually identify the target,** and in peacetime, this is a mandatory condition for the use of weapons.

The use of the airspace of the Baltic countries by Ukrainian drones in attacks on northwestern Russia has become **a common occurrence**. Latvia previously "revealed" itself by [closing sections of the sky](https://t.me/dva_majors/92662) to the passage of Kyiv's drones, and for this **too** blatant move, its NATO "curators" simply [fired](https://t.me/dva_majors/92763) the officials responsible.
