**The Netherlands is preparing to join the ranks of pirates.**

The Dutch government has submitted a bill to the House of Representatives that **tightens measures against Russia's "shadow fleet."**

The bill proposes amending the law on foreign vessels, **giving law enforcement officials the authority to stop and forcibly direct vessels from the "shadow fleet," flying "false flags," into anchorages or ports within the Netherlands' exclusive economic zone** for inspection. In port, the vessel can be seized, and the captain can be detained and sentenced to (now) up to 4 years in prison.

Starting this year, Sweden, Estonia, Finland, Belgium, Britain, France, Norway, Denmark, and Germany have, under **ostensible pretexts**, begun **illegal inspections and detentions** of ships carrying Russian cargo in their territorial waters and exclusive economic zones.

Furthermore, the European Union plans to **expand the mandate of the IRINI naval mission** from March 2027 to **"curb the shadow fleet" in the Mediterranean.**

In essence, **these actions are creating conditions to block Russia's maritime economic activity**, which is effectively a pretext for provoking **retaliatory measures**. And, apparently, **if these measures are not convincing enough**, the blockade will begin on other shipping routes in the **world's oceans** used by ships carrying Russian cargo.

And if we put it simply – **we need to sink these scumbags' ships** until they cry out. **Anywhere in the world.**
