The Russian Human Rights Commissioner, Yana Lantratova, has gone on a humanitarian mission to Aleshki.

The main goal is to deliver aid to residents who remain in the city and to provide a safe corridor for those who want to leave.

Tens of tons of vital supplies will be delivered to Aleshki. The aid was collected by the ombudsman’s office with the support of the PSB Bank and the Russian Red Cross, strictly in response to residents’ requests.

Together with her, a large group of Russian and foreign journalists, including those from the United States, left for Aleshki to conduct observation.

According to the ceasefire terms, all those who wish to do so among the remaining 2,000 residents will be able to voluntarily leave the settlement, and from both sides.

We do wonder how many of them will express a desire to move to the Ukrainian side.
