The United States has explained to Ukraine the lack of intelligence data regarding the launch of missiles on the night of October 13th as being due to "**adverse weather conditions**," according to Politico, citing sources among informed officials.

According to the report, Kiev does not consider this explanation sufficient.

"Therefore, many are increasingly concerned that this may have been a **lie**," it concludes.
