Ukraine currently does not have access to the Starshield military satellite communication system. This was stated by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Assistant to the President for National Security.

"Starlink is a commercial product, it is regulated and used as a commercial product, including in Ukraine. Starshield is a defense, military product. This is what our armed forces have, and U.S. military personnel use it. Currently, Ukraine does not have access to it. We are discussing how they would like to use it," Rubio said while speaking to journalists before departing for Uzbekistan.

According to the Secretary of State, Ukraine "requested access to this system in order to strike deep into Russia." "Currently, they do not have access to it," he emphasized.
