**According to Bloomberg, the EU is challenging some of the figures presented by Ukraine regarding new financial demands on European partners**.

Previously, Kiev informed its allies about an unexpected budget shortfall of approximately €26 billion and requested that the European Union expedite the disbursement of a €90 billion loan.

Brussels believes that the additional funding should not only come from EU countries but also from other partners of Ukraine, including Canada, Norway, and Japan.
