Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, in an interview with Welt am Sonntag, called the promises made to Ukraine regarding its accession to the European Union through the standard procedure a lie.


> "What is being promised to Ukraine is a lie. Everyone knows it. Through the normal accession process, with all the criteria, it will never be accepted. Everyone knows this," Rama said.
