**European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has called attacks on civilian vessels in the Black Sea unacceptable, Reuters reports.**

According to her, the situation in the region is causing growing concern.

> "Commercial vessels—and innocent crews—are being targeted, and lives have already been lost at sea," von der Leyen said.


Earlier, maritime drones attacked the Aframax Rio tanker  in the Black Sea.
