**Finnish law enforcement authorities have suspended the seizure of Russian state assets.**

The seizure has been halted based on a ruling by the Helsinki Court of Appeal, which in turn stems from a September decision by an appellate court in The Hague; the latter concluded that the original arbitration tribunal lacked jurisdiction over all the assets slated for seizure.
