French para-ice hockey players will not participate in the 2026 World Championship in Mexico City due to the inclusion of the Russian national team in the tournament.

The French Ice Hockey Federation expressed its solidarity with Ukraine, noting that the conditions necessary for the tournament to proceed without disruption have not been met.
