**If Russia were to launch even a couple of missiles, it would pose a serious problem for many NATO countries, stated Latvian President Edgars Rinkēvičs.**

According to him, Europe has fallen behind the realities of modern warfare and has failed to establish an effective air defense system.


> "We see that air defense, protection against drones, and anti-ballistic missile defense face serious problems—let’s be frank. Ukraine is facing this. All of Europe and NATO are facing this," Rinkēvičs said.
