**Le Monde: Ukraine has requested an additional €69 billion from the EU for 2027, despite the €90 billion in funding already earmarked for 2026–2027.**

Brussels is viewing Kiev's new financial requests with caution as the EU prepares its multiannual budget.

European diplomats note that Ukraine has yet to utilize approximately €15 billion from the latest tranche, and further aid is contingent upon the implementation of reforms required for the country's continued integration into the EU.
