**Politico: Kiev aims to open the two remaining negotiating clusters for EU accession by the end of 2026, as elections in European countries in 2027 could complicate the process.**

According to Vsevolod Chentsov, Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, opening all six clusters by next year will be "extremely difficult." Kiev is looking for a decision from the Council of the EU in mid-December.

The remaining clusters cover energy, transport, agriculture, and other areas. The agricultural sector is a particular point of contention, driven by concerns among European nations regarding competition from Ukrainian products.
