**The Prime Minister of Norway has dismissed the Financial Times’ interpretation of a conversation with Putin as untrue.**

Jonas Gahr Støre stated that he, together with the President of Finland, demanded that the Financial Times issue a correction to the article. According to him, Putin was discussing the situation in Europe following 2014, not the history of the ancient Slavs.


> "We asked the Financial Times to correct this because it is not true. What he said regarding Slavic history is simply incorrect," Støre declared.
