**The Ukrainian Air Force has lost several aircraft due to the malfunction of old Soviet missiles used to intercept jet-powered drones.**

This was stated by Taras Chmut, head of the "Come Back Alive" foundation.

According to him, due to a shortage of weaponry, forces are compelled to use R-73 missiles and the even older R-60s, which were developed in the 1960s.
