**Trump’s lifting of sanctions on Russian diesel derailed a near-finalized truce between Ukraine and the Russian Federation, **stated Czech President Petr Pavel.

According to him, pressure from the U.S. and Europe had placed Moscow in a critical position, but Trump’s decision gave Russia "new hope." He added that achieving a ceasefire will now be significantly more difficult.
