Ukrainian border guards in a boat unsuccessfully attempted to catch up with a man who was crossing the river on the border with Moldova by swimming.

When their boat drifted onto the Moldovan shore, the border guards were confronted by local residents.

> "You’ve come into my country—you’re drowning people!" one of the men declared.
