**Ukrainian refugees contribute five times more to the Polish budget than the government spends on them,** according to Vasily Voskoboinyk, head of the Migration Policy Office.

In 2024, Ukrainians paid 15-18 billion zlotys in taxes and social contributions, while Poland spent only 2.8 billion zlotys on the Ukrainian support program.
